Hello fellow parents!

My name is Wojciech, and I’m a dad to an amazing (meh, let’s be honest, every parent says that!) 3-year-old boy. After many ups and downs, I decided to share some of my experiences—both the victories and the struggles—in hopes of supporting some of you on this incredible, yet often challenging, parenthood journey.
Important note: I’m not a psychologist or parenting expert, so you won’t find professional advice here. What you will find are real, honest thoughts about fatherhood, work-life balance, and the daily chaos of raising a child while trying to provide for a family.
If you’re already a parent, you know exactly how wild this ride can be. If you’re about to become one—trust me, you’ll find out soon enough! Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ve ever met a parent who wasn’t struggling in some way – we all face tough moments daily.
I work as a freelance sound designer, and shifting from full-time work to freelancing has been a journey of its own. It’s a constant balancing act—being there for my son while ensuring financial stability. Some days, I feel like I’ve got it figured out. Other days? Pure, unfiltered chaos. But I’ve noticed that more and more people around me are considering the switch from full-time employment to freelancing, so I’d love to explore that topic further and share what I’ve learned.
Through this blog, I want to share my thoughts, experiences, and lessons learned along the way. If you’re a working dad (or any parent) trying to navigate this rollercoaster, welcome! Let’s figure it out together and support each other. I truly believe that having a strong community and meaningful conversations can make all the difference—because, let’s be honest, parenting can feel overwhelming at times.
IDEA

So long story short – The idea of this website is to be a space for moms and dads who are trying to juggle career ambitions with being the best parents they can be. Possible? Well, i’m not sure yet, I think that it’s always about balance and compromise. You can’t be the best everyday at everything, and your 100% propably won’t look the same from one day to the next, and that’s completely fine!
What inspired me to start writing? The world around us. Like it or not, we live in a world that’s constantly on the go. Between work, family and endless to-do lists, ir feels like there is barely any time to stop, sit down and think about simplest things like peace, happiness or whatever else comes to your mind that matters to you. Every day, we are hit with new different tasks and responsibilities, and let’s be honest – It might be very frustrating and overwhelming sometimes.
Another big inspiration? The endless flood of social media posts, videos, and reels that make parenting look like a perfectly curated dream. Laughing toddlers, spotless homes, and of course, parents who have everything figured out 100%. Come on, does anyone still believe that?
Honestly, I’m not falling for it, but I do see my wife, from time to time, wondering: “Why do they have it all sorted out? What are we doing wrong?” Well, there’s probably a long list of things we’re doing wrong, but I don’t believe in that candy-coated Instagram life. Babies grow, they change constantly, and we change with them. A perfect house with zero dust? Not in our place, for sure. And if I have to choose between that or having fun with my child? The choice is obvious—I’ll gladly do the dishes at night.
Let’s talk about it!

What I want to do here is simple: share real experiences—not just the perfect ones.
Every day, I find new opportunities—not only to spend quality time with my son but also to carve out some much-needed time for myself. Managing time, stress, and balancing work and family is no small feat, but I believe it’s all part of the journey.
In short, I want to create a space where we can have open conversations about the real struggles of parenthood that often don’t get talked about. Of course, I speak from the perspective of a dad, but I also see firsthand what my wife is dealing with daily, and I want to acknowledge that. Both parents have their ups and downs—and both need support and understanding to keep our mental health in check.
In conclusion
Parenthood is one of the most rewarding, yet challenging journeys we can take. It’s not about being perfect every day—it’s about showing up, doing your best, and learning along the way. Whether you’re a working dad, a stay-at-home parent, or somewhere in between, we’re all just trying to figure it out.
Through this blog, I hope to offer a space for real conversations about what it means to balance work and family, support each other, and share the ups and downs we face as parents. So, if you’re on this wild ride, welcome. Let’s learn from each other, share our stories, and remind ourselves that we’re not alone in this journey.
Thanks for being here, and let’s keep this conversation going!
